    In 2005, Carl Strecker traveled to Sri Lanka to film his 74-minute tsunami relief documentary "Becoming Family," winner of the 2007 Top Applause Award at the International Family Film Festival. He is also a business executive with experience in design management, advertising, B2B consulting, and entertainment marketing, and has worked for HBO Max, Netflix, Paramount, Sony, Disney, the Oregonian Media Group, and Video Business Magazine. Carl earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College in Claremont, CA and is a big brother mentor for the nonprofit Big Brothers & Big Sisters.

    Dr. M. Rahmi Mowjood has traveled on two relief trips to his native Sri Lanka after the tsunami of 2004. A graduate of Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA in 1994, Dr. Mowjood spent a year in London studying classical acting at the London Academy of Performing Arts on a Rotary Ambassadorial scholarship before returning to Southern California in 1996 to begin attending Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. Upon graduating in 2000, Dr. Mowjood started a three-year residency in family medicine and now is co-owner of the Cucamonga Valley Medical Group in the Inland Empire. He is also a board member of the Muslim Public Affairs Counsel, an organization that promotes peace and better understanding of the Islamic faith.

    Nicholas Kreider has worked for various non-profit organizations for over 10 years. While he assists several in California, he has also traveled to Africa, Haiti, and Sri Lanka doing volunteer work for aid organizations. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration from the University of Delaware and his Master of Business Administration Degree from Bond University in Queensland, Australia. Nicholas currently works as a Senior Research Manager at Lieberman Research Worldwide, where his primary responsibilities include managing qualitative and quantitative studies, overseeing all analyses, growing sales from existing clients, and managing and developing junior staff. Prior to LRW Nicholas was a Special Projects Officer for Relief International, an NGO based in Los Angeles, CA.
